lake tahoe weddings - the basics

Some of these considerations include, who will throw the bridal shower, when will the bridal shower be held, who will be invited to the wedding shower, how do you choose a theme for the shower and what type of menu will be served. The invitation can hint to the theme of your wedding or simply give the guests a glimpse into how formal your wedding will be.

Not all punches are created equal, and neither do all kinds of punch fit into every type of bridal shower. One exciting theme idea that is both elegant and sophisticated is a tea party theme. Although a venue may have picturesque views and gorgeously decorated rooms if the food is not up to par you may want to consider a different venue in which to host your wedding.

A brunch will be easier to plan than a shower that is held late in the evening when a meal is expected. The couple that eats out every night of the week may not enjoy cooking and would therefore not appreciate a basket full for recipes and kitchen utensils, however, the couple with season tickets to a particular sport may enjoy a basket filled with DVDs from a championship series as well as memorabilia from their favorite sports team. Also, since the couple typically uses the rehearsal dinner to thank their parents, the wedding party and anyone else who has supported them in the wedding planning, now would be the time to plan out exactly what you plan to say during this offering of thanks.

The final week before a wedding can be extremely harried and filled with last minute details but it is important to take some time to relax during this week. You may choose to write your vows completely on your own to ensure that they are a surprise for your partner but you may also wish to work on your vows with your partner so that the two of you can enjoy the process of writing your vows together.
